The Ministry of corporate affairs vide general circular no.1 dated 1st January,2020 Extended the due date for filing of e-form BEN-2 upto 31st March,2020 without payment of additional fee and thereafter fee and additional fee shall be payable.

Consequent to such extension of due date for filing e-form BEN-2, the date of filing of Form No.BEN-1 may be construed Accordingly.

As per Rule 4 of the companies (significant beneficial owners) rules,2018 The company shall file a return in Form No. BEN-2 with the Registrar in respect of declaration received in Form BEN-1, within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of such declaration.

The Due date for filing BEN-2 is 31-03-2020, Therefore The due date for filing BEN-1 can be considered as 01.03.2020 (30 days prior to BEN-2 due date)
